Just a quick update/status report on the 4-by-4 proposal:
The task force is currently discussing administrative impacts of switching to a four credit per four class system. “I expect that in about two weeks, we shall begin talking about resources connected to a 4×4 change,” said Vice President of Academic Affairs Donald Lehman in an […]

Special Sections

In the next week, we’re going to launch two “Special Report” sections that will hopefully make some very complex issues easier to understand and digest.
The first will be our special “GW Votes 2006″ section, which will cover the upcoming Student Association, Program Board, and Marvin Center Governing Board elections.

ANC Meeting

Hey, Kris Moore just got back from the ANC meeting and while nothing directly GW related happened, there was an interesting piece of news.
It seems that the current owner of Colonial Parking behind the Elliot School (on 20th Street) wants to build a Courtyard by Marriott on the site. We won’t have anything for you […]

Live from the Board of Trustees

So that didn’t work out too well. It wasn’t a failure, per se, more of a heap that we should have seen coming but recklessly ignored.
Before we (and by we, I mean me) arrived, media relations people who saw our e-mail edition’s teaser for liveblogging had already been thinking. Granted, they were a […]

Health & Safety: For the Record

Just a quick followup on Monday’s story about the new round of health and safety inspections that started last week:
There was some confusion as to how involved CLLC was in the inspections, especially with the fact that violations are recorded by the university.  James Kohl, director of Residential Life and Education for CLLC, sent this […]
