Rozenberg vs. Thorpe for second

Updates have been scarce today as we’ve been around the polling locations today. Our 7 p.m. results are up: out of a sample size of 2036, the Real GW’s Morgan Corr ‘07 is maintaining his lead with 32 percent of the vote. GWUnited’s Elliott Rozenberg ‘08 and Lamar Thorpe ‘07 are still fighting for their second place, hovering around 22 percent.

Around the polling locations: most have been dead. Funger has seen about 20 people, the Ross Hall location has seen about 15, and E Street has seen not many more. The place to be is the Marvin Center, where we’ve been all day.

Violations have been committed all day. The JEC has been outside on the streets collecting allegations of improper campaigning and such.

Nate Hayward ‘07 stopped campaigning today and threw his support behind Thorpe. Hayward is polling at less than 1 percent in our exit poll.
In other news, the Marvin Center’s FedEx Kinko’s has a new digital photo machine, the SONY Picture Station. It’s pretty exciting.

Stay tuned to more shortly…
