Trachtenberg to retire in ‘07
President Stephen Joel Trachtenberg announced that he will retire in July 2007 when his contract expires, ending nearly 20 years on the job as one of the university’s longest-serving presidents.
Trachtenberg will continue to serve as emeritus president and a professor of public policy and public administration at GW.
