Elliott to return for senior year

GW Men’s Baskteball star Carl Elliott ‘08 decided Sunday to return to GW in the fall, giving up an oppurtunity to join the NBA Draft. Sunday was the last day for him to make a decision before losing collegiate eligibility.

New CCAS interim dean after Sigelman heart attack

Lee Sigelman, professor of political science, has stepped down as interim dean of the Columbian School of Arts & Sciences after suffering a tachycardia attack last month. Diana Lipscomb, currently the associate dean for Faculty and Research, will take his place, according to a letter sent to faculty of CCAS.

SMPA search ends with new director, faculty member

The University announced today that Lee W. Huebner will become the new director of the School of Media and Public Affairs, ending a months-long search and a years long vacancy.

As Aramark packs up and makes room for Sodexho, J Street will reopen today to feature the venues that will remain under the new food provider.
