“On the Story” canceled

BREAKING: CNN announced Friday that it has cancelled “On the Story,” which was taped Friday nights at GW’s Jack Morton Auditorium.

It will be replaced by “This Week at War,” which will focus on coverage from Iraq and Afghanistan. “This Week at War,” has been airing in “On the Story”’s time slot for several weeks and will continue to air on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons.

CNN/US President Jon Klein announced the scheduling change Friday during a television critics press tour. The new broadcast will have a similar feel

It is unknown what role, if any, GW will have in the new series.
