Suspicious Package Reported on E Street

Around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday a suspicious package was reported on E Street between 19th and 21st Streets, according to the Metropolitan Police Department, who blocked the area off to cars and pedestrians.

Funger Briefly Evacuated After Fire Alarm

Several students said they smelled the faint scent of gas before a fire alarm went off Monday afternoon in Funger Hall. UPD confirmed that they looked into the gas smell but refused to comment further. The building was only evacuated briefly.

GW,CNN end programming partnership

CNN will conclude its five-year programming venture with the university beginning this February, according to a press release from Michael Freedman, GW Vice President for Communications.
The decision was based on the cable network’s changing show lineup, according to Freedman and CNN representative Edie Emery.
