Woman Struck by Metro Train in Rosslyn
On Wednesday morning, a woman, feeling faint, leaned over the edge of the platform at Rosslyn Metrorail as a Blue Line train to Franconia-Springfield pulled into the station, according to the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority. She made contact with the train but sustained only minor injuries. The woman received medical assistance and was taken to the GW University Hospital a little after 7:45 a.m. As a result, travelers on the Blue and Orange lines experienced delays for the remainder of the morning rush hour.
