Woman Struck by Metro Train in Rosslyn
On Wednesday morning, a woman, feeling faint, leaned over the edge of the platform at Rosslyn Metrorail as a Blue Line train to Franconia-Springfield pulled into the station. She made contact with the train but sustained only minor injuries. The woman received medical assistance and was taken to the GW University Hospital a little after 7:45 a.m. As a result, travelers on the Blue and Orange lines experienced delays for the remainder of the morning rush hour.
