Cherry Blossoms Just Weeks Away
As most students leave the city for a week, whether for a tropical vacation or to see friends and family at home, the National Park Service has announced that the prime blooming period of Washington’s famed cherry blossom trees will be from April 1 - 7. This means that 70 percent of the buds will blossom during this time, filling the city with the scent and feel of spring. Stay tuned to <em>The Daily Colonial</em> for updates on the upcoming National Cherry Blossom Festival, taking place in Washington from March 31 - April 15.
