SEAS Dean Resigns
The university announced that Timothy Tong, dean of GW’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, will step down from that position beginning in late June 2008. The reason for his resignation and post-Gw plans were not immediately shared. Tong has served as SEAS dean since 2000.
In a press release, President Steven Knapp thanked Tong for his service as GW and said the university would begin moving forward to find a new dean.
