The Daily Colonial Awarded National Honor

The Daily Colonial is proud to announce it is a 2007 winner of the Associated Collegiate Press’ Online Pacemaker Award.

The distinction is widely considered the “Pulitzer Prize of student journalism,” and publications were judged holistically by a panel of professional media judges from The Washington Post.

Thanks to all our loyal readers who continue to make publishing the newspaper worth it, and to the staff who make that possible. We are supremely honored to receive this award, especially as a publication barely in its third year.
