It all hits at once…

Just a quick note today - I’ve noticed over the past two years at The Daily Colonial, big breaking news stories seem to come in bunches. Nothing big and unexpected for a while, and then all of a sudden two or three stories hit.

That seems to be what happened this weekend with Red Auerbach, Joan Regnell and the fire at Empire Apartments. That also happened last year while I was still Editor-in-Chief several times, and back when I was working at The News-Times, where I wrote in high school.

I’m wondering, does anyone have any scientific or philisophical explantions for this? I would love for you to comment if you do. It’s an intersting thing to think about.
